ICONIC Academy is a publisher of continuing professional education for practitioners in natural and integrative care.
We teach the parts of practice that training programs tend to skip: ethics, scope, consent, documentation, client safety, referral literacy, and the business honesty that professional work requires. Our courses are written for people already in practice who want their standards to be deliberate rather than inherited.
What we are not
We are not a degree-granting institution. We do not offer degrees, doctorates, diplomas, or academic credit of any kind, and we never will. We are not accredited, and we do not describe ourselves as accredited.
We do not train people to enter the field. Our courses are continuing education for practitioners who already work in it.
Our relationship with ICONIC Board
ICONIC Academy shares ownership with ICONIC Board, the Independent Credentialing Organization for Natural and Integrative Care. We state that plainly because concealing it would be worse than disclosing it.
What matters more is the boundary. Academy courses and certificates carry no weight toward any ICONIC Board credential. They are not a prerequisite, they earn no credit, they do not shorten or improve any review, and they are not considered when the Board evaluates an application. A practitioner who has taken every course we publish is assessed exactly as one who has taken none.
The Board recognizes no school's programs, including ours. If that ever changes, it will change publicly and for every provider at once.
How we teach
Self-paced, written, and honest about its limits. Every course states what it covers, what it does not, how many learning hours it represents, and what the certificate does and does not mean.
